One of the really interesting questions here is what is the competition between China and the United States going to look like? First of all, I think there is going to be a serious arms race. I think that the Chinese will spend increasing amounts of money on defense, and they will build more and better military capabilities. At the same time, the United States is going to increase defense spending, and it is going to send more and more of its military assets to Asia than it has in the past.
